Broadening Participation in Computing

NSF CISE has brought attention to the low rate of participation of women, racial minorities, and persons with disabilities in computing.  We in ICICLE are making it a priority to develop a culture within and across the institute that intentionally champions inclusivity in research labs and classrooms; this is a major focus of both our Broadening Participation in Computing and Workforce Development efforts.  As an institute with 14 institutions across the country, ICICLE has an outsized opportunity to change the landscape in BPC.
